Education / Research
My degree education background is in general geology while during my postgraduate studies I specialized in marine geology and oceanography. My research efforts focussed on investigating sedimentary processes in continental margin environments, and their role in carbon sequestration.

Professional Experience
My professional experience is directly linked to my research career and involved tasks ranging from seagoing missions for acquiring data, laboratoty analysis of geological samples, result compilation and interpretation and scientific papers and proposals/report writting.
